Regular CODATA Members’ Meetings

To enable collaboration among CODATA members on priority activities and to facilitate information sharing, regular meetings of CODATA members are being organised by the Executive Committee and the Secretariat on the first Thursday of the month. Whenever changes of dates occur, the Secretariat would update the information at this page and inform members also via email. 

Two 90 mins calls will be scheduled on that day, at 08:00 UTC and 15:00 UTC to accommodate participation of members from various timezones. 

 

Registration for the meetings 

The cycle of regular calls of the National Committee’s Forum, the International Scientific Unions’ Forum and meetings of all CODATA members will restart in 2026.  

CODATA members are kindly asked to note the dates and times of the calls and are invited to register according to their membership type and planned attendance. There is no limit to the number of participants per CODATA member. 

While we indicate intended primary audience for each of the three types of meetings, other members or representatives from CODATA initiatives are welcome to join the calls as observers.

Agenda / topics addressed in the calls

Topics for discussion will be primarily driven by interests and priorities highlighted by CODATA members in earlier meeting(s) and will relate to matters of interest to the primary audience. These could include activities around the WorldFAIR+ initiative, data policy and ethics, data science, training, early career related activities or CODATA Task and Working Groups. Agenda for a given call will be prepared and announced by the Secretariat in collaboration with the CODATA Executive Committee members chairing/engaged in the membership forums.
