Candidates for the 2025 CODATA Elections

In accordance with the CODATA constitution and on the basis of nominations received, the CODATA Nominating Committee, chaired by Professor Barend Mons, CODATA Past President, has prepared the following electoral slate which strikes a balance with regard to disciplines, countries, and specialised expertise relevant to CODATA and its current activities, while also reflecting the diversity of the global data community. 

The following Offices are open for election:

  • Secretary General (1 position, to serve 2025-29)
  • Treasurer (1 position, to serve 2025-29)
  • Executive Committee Ordinary Members (10 positions, to serve 2025-27)

The CODATA General Assembly 2025 will take place on 17-18 October 2025 in Brisbane, Australia, and online.
