CODATA RDA Summer School of Research Data Science 2017

The school of research data science provides and introduction to core data skills that are now needed by all researchers.

The curriculum provides early career researchers with the key data skills which will enable them to be more effective and efficient in their work, to analyse the data that is available and to take advantage of the emerging culture of Open Science.

The foundational school and advanced workshop will take place again in at ICTP, Trieste in August 2018. We envisage this initiative continuing for a number of years to come. Our medium to long term ambition is to establish a network of schools and to take the curriculum and approach to a number of partner institutions and countries, particularly in the global south.
