  5. Special Issue : JGSA-Call...

We are pleased to announce that manuscript submissions for the special issue (Topical Collection) of the Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis are now possible via the journal’s submission system.

Manuscripts can be submitted until June 30, 2024 at the following link: http://www.editorialmanager.com/jgsa/default.aspx

Here is the Link to the Call for Papers: https://www.springer.com/journal/41651/updates/26567690

Please assign the manuscript to the Topical Collection at http://www.editorialmanager.com/jgsa/default.aspx

It offers participants of the ILUS2023 conference the opportunity to publish their original research in the form of a peer-reviewed article in a scientific journal. The call is also open to external contributions that are in line with the scope of the thematic collection. Submissions must adhere to the journal’s guidelines and will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

The Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis follows a Continuous Article Publishing (CAP) model. Articles are immediately published online after acceptance and are assigned to the corresponding topical collection. Authors will have the option to choose how their article is published:

Traditional publishing model – published articles are made available to institutions and individuals who subscribe to Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis or who pay to read specific articles.

Open Access – when an article is accepted for publication, the author/s or funder/s pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). The final version of the published article is then free to read for everyone.

See the following link to the publishing options and the possible Article Processing Charges in case of an Open Access publication:
