In the context of a researcher’s activities, Representation is the process of representing and speaking at local, national, and international fora. Client service is the process of interaction for facilitation of the knowledge/information transfer to clients. Areas where the representation and client services context is quite significant are: technology transfer and industrial liaison; scientific liaison with government organizations, academia, clients and stakeholders; scientific staff and advisory positions; contracting out. Within this context, collaboration, partnering and RDA support to business development activities also have significance.
