A combination of high temperatures and relatively humid air resulted in area average Heat Index values of about 50\u00b0C, which is classified to be in the \u2018danger\u2019 level that is associated with a high risk of heat cramps and heat exhaustion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tonkintaylor.createsend1.com\/t\/t-l-etjidg-jiiyihkiil-j\/\">The European Commission has laid out a comprehensive strategy to empower Member States in managing climate risks effectively.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Communication\u00a0responds to the first ever\u00a0European Climate Risk Assessment\u00a0(EUCRA), a scientific report by the European Environment Agency. Together, they are\u00a0a call to action for all levels of government, as well as the private sector and civil society.
