Managing data will find its place in the world.\u00a0 I don\u2019t mean analytics, I mean taking care of the data so that people can run legitimate analytics.<\/p>\n<p>It annoys me just now &#8211; a lot of these data science and data analytics programs, they\u2019re all about statistics, visualisation, analysis, but very little about actually curating the data underneath. Not to say that data curators don\u2019t need to know a little bit about analysis but people who do data science in the business environment, they often don\u2019t know much about curation.\u00a0 People working for businesses, they complain that they spend 80% of their time cleaning data and without that, the data wasn\u2019t usable.
